Time just for you, as your body changes

Between appointments, work and getting everything ready, it's easy to forget about you. My pregnancy reflexology sessions are a warm, quiet space where you're looked after, so you can switch off and simply be with your baby.

Deep relaxation for body and mind · Quiet time to bond with your baby · Feeling cared for, every step of the way

What to expect

Before your visit: you'll fill in a short consultation form, including how many weeks you are and anything your midwife or doctor has mentioned.

When you arrive: you're settled in comfortably and well supported with pillows and soft blankets.

Your session: gentle reflexology on your feet. You only need to take off your shoes and socks. Many mums drift off.

Afterwards: take your time getting up, have a glass of water and enjoy the calm.

Is it safe in pregnancy?

I'm a registered and qualified reflexologist with the NRRI (reg. no. 2201:24), and I offer pregnancy reflexology from 14 weeks. At your first visit, I'll go through your pregnancy with you. If you have any complications or a high-risk pregnancy, please check with your midwife, GP or consultant before booking. Reflexology is a complementary therapy and works alongside your antenatal care, never instead of it.

Claim it back on your health insurance

Many health insurance plans give money back on reflexology, including Vhi, Laya Healthcare, Irish Life Health and HSF Health Plan. Check what your own plan covers, and just ask me for a receipt to send in.

Questions mums ask

When can I start? From 14 weeks of pregnancy.

How often should I come? As you get closer to your due date, I recommend once a week.

Can I keep coming close to my due date? Yes. Weekly sessions in your final weeks are a lovely way to rest and prepare to meet your baby.

What do I need to wear? Anything comfortable. Only your feet are treated.

What about after baby arrives? I'd love to keep looking after you. I offer Postpartum Reflexology (€60) and Mother & Baby Reflexology (€70), where you and your little one are both cared for.
